The Director of Donor Systems will direct a department responsible for gift processing and data management for the entire Development unit, including management of an active constituent database of more than 500,000 donors. This position will oversee the development of standards and best practices that will ensure data integrity within Salesforce. This position will lead the systems team in liaising, as appropriate, with a variety of other internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to the Finance, CRM, IT groups, as well as our partners at Salesforce, specialty consultants, and other units within Development.
The Director will operate in a leadership role in the Development Department, and as such will be expected to advance the department’s goal of building a strategic and highly successful development program that affirms NRDC’s mission and supports its ongoing programmatic successes and future growth.
Finally, since the Salesforce product will be new to NRDC, it is anticipated that the Donor Systems group, in collaboration with the CRM team, will develop training opportunities for all users and especially power users, to ensure that we maximize the power of this new tool.
