The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) is the nation's most effective environmental action organization. NRDC is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the Facilities Department in our New York office. The Facilities department is responsible for a diverse portfolio, including space planning, real estate, workplace management, security, capital projects, sustainability, travel, and procurement across NRDC offices. Under the supervision of the Chief Real Estate and Sustainability Officer, the Senior Project Manager will lead the coordination and oversight of operational initiatives supporting the Mission of NRDC and Facilities. The successful candidate will be passionate about having a diverse workload, fosters working collaboratively, able to solve problems and face challenges creatively, displays strong communication and organizational skills, and exemplifies the Facilities Team mission, goals, and values.
Timely completion and attention to detail are expected in carrying out these tasks, as is the ability to assess situations with the "big picture" in mind.
Executive weekly summaries are expected to be written and turned in to the Chief Real Estate and Sustainability Officer on activities, product production, potential issues and the overall state of all projects at hand.
