NRDC is seeking a Regional Campaign Manager, Energy Markets & Transmission, to work with the Center for Campaigns and Organizing (CCO) team in our Washington, DC or New York, NY office.
Position Summary
The Regional Campaign Manager, Energy Market & Transmission, will be responsible for developing and executing advocacy strategies and tactics to promote NRDC's clean energy policy agenda and influence federal, state, and regional policymakers. This person will report to the Northeast Campaigns Director with a secondary report to the Director of the FERC Project in the Power Sector. The Regional Campaign Manager, Energy Market & Transmission, will initially focus on advancing transmission to support offshore wind development and other clean energy along the East Coast – particularly with states in PJM, New York Independent System Operator, and ISO New England. The person fulfilling this role will conceive, lead, and coordinate clean energy transmission and clean energy development initiatives at the state, regional, and federal levels, and work closely with external partners. The Regional Campaign Manager, Energy Market & Transmission, will also collaborate with Regional Campaign Directors and state leads in NRDC priority states to implement campaign strategies and tactics, ensuring alignment across the organization and with partners.

Internal equity will be reviewed and considered to determine a final offer. For this position, the salary range is $113,000 to $121,000.
NRDC operates under a hybrid work model. Employees are required to come to the office 8 days per month.
