Position Summary:
NRDC is seeking an Associate Director, Emerging Climate Solutions and Global Partnership to work in close collaboration with the NRDC’s International program to lead our efforts in emerging climate solutions and global partnership to strengthen our work in India. The ideal candidate will have in-depth sector experience, with a focus on areas such as green hydrogen,
critical minerals, and lead toxicity. This role will involve research and writing, collaboration, and development of strategic stakeholder relationships.
This position is also responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of a dedicated team, focused on the development, implementation, and optimization of climate solutions.
Key responsibilities include mentoring and guiding staff, helping to shape policy in the energy access sector, working with national, state, and local partners within the U.S., India, and Africa and on an international platform. This role also requires strategic thinking and the ability to
navigate complex challenges, while also inspiring and motivating a diverse team to achieve their goals. A commitment to sustainability and a passion for advancing clean energy solutions are essential.

We offer competitive salaries, excellent benefits, and a supportive working environment. Salary is based on a nonprofit scale and is commensurate with skills and experience. Internal equity will be reviewed and considered to determine a final offer. For this position, the salary range is $125,000 to $135,000.
NRDC operates under a hybrid work model. Employees are required to come to the office 8 days per month.
