POSITION SUMMARY
The E2 Senior Manager, Media and Strategic Communications is responsible for developing and executing E2’s media and communications strategy. This role will lead coordination of our staff, members and partners to build a unified, nonpartisan business voice for climate and clean energy policies at the federal and state levels and develop and execute effective strategies to deliver our message in social media, traditional media, film and audio.
Reporting directly to E2’s Executive Director and collaborating closely with E2’s Director of Research and Publications, this role will secure media coverage of our widely cited reports and research, as well as help identify new ways to amplify these and other E2 resources. This role will also shape communications with donors and potential funders, identify opportunities to spread E2’s message and advance E2’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion; our support of young entrepreneurs and our nonpartisan approach. This is a limited term two year position.

We offer competitive salaries, excellent benefits, and a supportive working environment. Salary is based on a nonprofit scale and is commensurate with skills and experience. Internal equity will be reviewed and considered to determine a final offer. For this position, the salary range is $90,000 to $115,000.
NRDC operates under a hybrid work model. Employees are required to come to the office 8 days per month.
